Human Resources and Payroll Manager

Core Responsibilities:

  • Champion the onboarding process, ensuring the process is up to date and of high quality, providing clarity and connection for all employees and their role in relation to the overall vision of the company. 
  • Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR federal and state requirements, conducting investigations, and maintaining records.
  • Maintain and track employee benefits, including compensation, insurance, expenses, vacation, and other related packages.
  • Oversee, refine, and execute employee standards and procedures, using and improving HR existing and recommended systems and processes.
  • Organizing and processing company mail to ensure it gets to the correct employees.
  • Assist management with recruitment efforts and employee retention.
  • Process employee payroll on a bi-weekly schedule.


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Exceptional communication skills, writing skills, and interpersonal skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of HR policies and procedures.
  • Adept to problem-solving and conflict resolution.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience working in human resources.
  • Experience cross-checking employee time entries and processing payroll.
  • Working knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft products is a plus.
